Why is the color green associated with jealousy and envy? That seems to be the dominant color in my life lately. For the past weeks, jealousy, not to mention my suspicious crazy thoughts, is eating me up.
Luckily, Bubba has an enormous understanding and patience. Even when I have my witchy-bitchy moments, he tries his hardest to understand that I am just a woman. Sorry for generalizing, but don't we all have our crazy irrational moments? Just kidding!
Because of the things that I recently discovered, it turned me into this pathetic jealous person who feels the need to know her man's whereabouts 24/7. Even if he's just a few minutes later than what he told me, I would go ballistic. I would call numerous times during the day and don't stop until he picks up.
Nope, I am not proud of myself. I do not like what's happening to me. To give him credit, he is really trying his hardest to make me feel secure and happy in this relationship. He does not fail to give me the assurance that I need. Hope I will get out from this insecure mode soon.
Going back to the question, why do they call jealousy the "green-eyed monster"?
In Othello, Shakespeare alludes to cats as green-eyed monsters in the way that they play with mice before killing them.
Iago:
O, beware, my lord, of jealousy;
It is the green-eyed monster which doth mock
The meat it feeds on; that cuckold lives in bliss
Who, certain of his fate, loves not his wronger;
But, O, what damned minutes tells he o'er
Who dotes, yet doubts, suspects, yet strongly loves!

i do not know why but i am not a jealous person. it does feel good to have not such a heavy feeling of jealousy actually.
you can do it. it's a step by step procedure celine. start by trusting the people you love and you'll get there.
