Our Apartment Burned Down

Some of you might have noticed my absence from the blogging world. No EC drops, no blog updates, no adgitizing. By the way, thank you for those who consistently visit my blog.

On the night of November 1, our apartment was burned down. We were not able to save any material things. I did not cry over the stuff that we lost. I am just sad that I lost the environment I am used to for the past years. But still, I am thankful that no one was hurt. Right now, we are in the process of looking for a new place to stay.

I believe that when we lose something, it will be replaced by something much better. My faith in God, even in these trying moments, will never falter. It also feels so amazing how kind and generous others can be now that we are in need.

The Aftermath:

I'm so sorry to hear about this tragedy. Over here, we experienced the other extreme (flood), but it brought forth the same results - devastation and an even deeper faith in God (also awe at people's kindness and generosity). I'm glad you're all okay. Hope you find a nice place soon. :)
