For many years the credit scores have not been a big ordeal in some eyes. The feeling we can get money from someone was big. Borrowing on the home or the car is big. I am of the belief if you can not afford it, say no and walk away. Save up to get it later. Work within your means. The bad thing that happened is we gave to our children and some never told them we did not have the money. So Plastic money was a normal solution. That is too bad. Now we should change the way we teach our children. That way the change will happen in the next generation.
