Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment on my post. I think that's his problem with me, whenever he gets stressed out, and he talks to me about what's going on, I tend to take it personally, and I get more emotional. We had a chance to talk today. At least he's talking to me now...

Relationship can be like that especially when it comes to men. It often seems like the more stressed they are the less they talk. My BF is like that. He used to deny anything was wrong and I would say, "Why do you do that when you know I know something is wrong?" Now he'll acknowledge that something is wrong and that he knows I care. As long as other areas are strong for us and he's not totally shutting me out then I know things are fine.

You're right, you are affected, but try not to take it personally. Let him work through his process while letting him know you're available or whatever and when he's finished - whether he shares or not - remind him in a rational, loving discussion that you're there to make his life easier and to love him and maybe you can help.
